Further, Abicor Binzel uses the new further-developed low weight BIKOX cable assembly in the air-cooled MB EVO PRO welding torches. This means that an MB EVO PRO 36 is now 500 g lighter in comparison to its predecessor, the MB Grip 36. “Anyone who holds half a kilo for a minute with an out- stretched armknows just what thismeans. In the air-cooled ver- sions we have achieved theworld’s best ratio of performance to weight. With the liquid-cooled MB EVO torches, a completely newly designed interface is used between the welding torch neck and the cable assembly. Also, because the hoses in the liquid-cooled welding torches have to satisfy very high requirements, the new flexible rubber hoses (FRH) are used in theMB EVOPRO torches. The MB EVO line fulfils both handling and performance of the previous MB Ergo line but with newhandle design and rede- signed gun plug housing. In this segment, Abicor Binzel uses the proven and sturdy BIKOX R cable assemblies for the air-cooled torches and PVC hoses for the liquid-cooled welding torches.
