HAW to showcase eight niche product lines at NAMPO 2019 Hydraulic and Automation Warehouse (HAW), A Bosch Rexroth South Africa Group Company, will showcase eight of its niche product lines at NAMPO 2019. Formally known as Grain SA’s NAMPO Harvest Day, the exhibition takes place annually at NAMPO Park near Bothaville in the Free State.

The four-day exhibition runs from 14 to 17 May, with HAW’s focus this year on its Uniflex Grease Crimpers – specifically the Uniflex UG20; Salami brand gear pumps and valve banks; the M+S gerolor and gerotor motors and M+S steering orbitals; and tie-rod cylinders. Other products in the line-up include Intertraco hose and fittings, OMT filters and LuEn in-line components. “Interacting with Free State-based re- sellers and distributors is the highlight of this annual event for us,” says HAW GM, Werner Joubert. “It is the stage where we connect with existing customers to promote new products and technologies, and introduce our products, technologies and brands to potential new customers”. well-suited for the agricultural sector. The drive system features a rotary automatic gearbox that boosts travel speed by 10%, and increases towing force by over 6%. The rated load is 5 000 kg, rated power is 164 kW, and the break-out force is 175 kN. The SY215C medium excavator has an operating weight of 21 900 kg, an engine output of 114 kW, and a 1 m³ bucket capac- ity. Features include a customised engine, strengthened components, high operating efficiency, low fuel consumption, easy main- tenance, and an ergonomic cabin to promote operator comfort and productivity. The operating efficiency of the SY215C has been boosted by 8% thanks to an innovative controller that reduces the response time of the hydraulic compo- nents, as well as lowering the internal power loss of the system, and boosting the output power. The positive flow hydraulic system has also reduced fuel consumption by 10%, due to advanced dynamic control technology providing a real-time match between engine power and main pump power. Fuel economy is optimised further by means of four power modes for added flexibility. b
