Intelligent crushing with new Sandvik CH800i series

The new series of premium connected cone crushers includes a range of performance upgrades. Together with My Sandvik they bring digital transformation to mines and quarries. The Sandvik CH800i series of connected cone crushers is the first to offer intelligent crushing based on actionable information via the My Sandvik portal. This enables managers and operators to make decisions based on facts, and see areas for im- provement directly, increasing uptime and availability. My Sandvik is the latest innovation in Sandvik crushers. Other automation features continuously measure and compensate for crusher liner wear, while Hydroset™ and the electric dump valve automatically provide overload protection to let tramp iron or other uncrushable material pass through. ASRi™ automati- cally adapts crushers to variations in feed conditions. Sandvik CH800i comes with a range of upgrades, including a 65% stronger main Caterpillar has introduced the 990K Aggre- gate Handler, designed to handle greater payloads in aggregates yard applications. With as much as a 25% payload increase, as compared to the standard 990K wheel loader, the new Aggregate Handler enables customers to load trucks and railcars faster and to move more material in load-and-carry and stockpile handling tasks. The Cat 990K Aggregate Handler has a payload of 20 tonnes and a full turn static tipping load of 43 738 kg. Additional coun- terweight maintains machine stability, and robust 990K structures ensure durability in the Aggregate Handler configuration. The loader makes best use of general purpose and coal buckets for increased volume. The 990K Aggregate Handler is available in standard lift configuration with a 4 108 mm dump clearance and in high lift configuration with 4 569 mm dump clearance. Increased capacity and high dump clearance enable customers to load railcars and large trucks with a better pass match for faster material handling at lower cost per ton. The 990K Aggregate Handler comple- ments the smaller 986K and 988K Aggre- gate Handlers in the Cat large wheel load- er line.
