CRUSHING

The first units of the new MOBICONE MCO 90(i) EVO2 mobile cone crusher are expected to arrive in South Africa towards the second quarter of next year.

Increased crushing gains with Kleemann’s new EVO2 generation crushers With its newMOBICONE MCO 90(i) EVO2 mobile cone crusher, Kleemann has created a perfect complement for its recently launched MOBICAT MC 110(i) EVO2 jaw crusher. The new cone crusher – expected in southern Africa towards the second quarter of 2022 – scores with improved economy and intelligent control systems, writes Munesu Shoko.

T he newly-launched MOBI- CONE MCO 90(i) EVO2 mo- bile cone crusher joins the MOBICAT MC 110(i) EVO2 jaw crusher on Kleemann’s new arrivals lounge. The MOBICONE MCO 90(i) EVO2, explains Waylon Kukard, sales manager at Wirtgen Group South Africa, will only arrive in the local market towards the second quarter of 2022. “We will, however, receive the 2 nd generation MC 110(i) EVO2 jaw crusher in South Africa by the end of 2021,” he says. The main focus for this product range, adds Kukard, is the contract crushing market. “These units are easy to move around and give high production outputs coupled with low fuel, running and transport costs. They can work just as well in quarrying applications where clients prefer to have high mobility in the pit,” he says. With innovative new developments on the MOBICONE MCO 90(i) EVO2, Kleemann is offering its quarrying

Key features and benefits The operation of crushing plants is becoming more and more sophisticated. For its brand- new crushing plants in the EVO2 generation, Kleemann has developed an intelligent control concept that considerably simplifies operation. With SPECTIVE, the company has raised the bar for user interfaces in the sector. The operating concept has an intuitive structure and revolutionises plant operation with its extensive features. The 12” touch panel has been optimised with regards to user guidance and visualisation. Furthermore, new components such as a large and small radio remote control have been integrated into the SPECTIVE world. The new digital solution, SPECTIVE CONNECT, sends all important plant data to the smartphone, allowing production managers to keep track of production from anywhere, anytime. This translates into less downtime,

and contracting customers an array of benefits. During daily work in medium-hard to hard stone – mainly in the second or third crushing stages – cone crushers often work close to their load limits. With a maximum feed capacity of up to 270 t/h, the new MCO 90(i) EVO2 cone crusher demonstrates its strengths and guarantees more operational reliability and high plant availability. Simple transportability in frequently changing job sites and the wide application range are convincing arguments for the MOBICONE MCO 90(i) EVO2. Thanks to the improved diesel- direct drive concept, the MOBICONE MCO 90(i) EVO2 achieves good fuel consumption. The conveyor belts are driven electrically. The CFS (Continuous Feed System) uses a probe to monitor crusher levels, thus regulating material supply such that an optimum volume is always loaded. This guarantees the best possible crusher feed and high material quality.
