Dynapac expands light compaction range

New milling drum for Wirtgen W 150 CF/W 150 CFi

Dynapac Construction Equipment has extended its product offering by introducing a full range of light compaction equip- ment. The range, including rammers, forward and reversible plates, walk behind and articulated utility rollers, will widen the Dynapac portfolio and offering to its customers. “It’s great to announce to our customers who were eagerly awaiting the introduction of Dynapac light equipment to the market,” says Seby Joseph, marketing manager Light Equipment. “Our new light compaction range is based on well-known and high quality technology, adding tremendous value to our customers”. The global Dynapac sales and aftermarket sales network will fully support customers with technical service, training, parts and warranty support. Continued strategic investments will further strengthen the sales and support network as the Light Equipment will be available worldwide. To meet market demands, product introductions will begin during the second quarter of 2018 with focus given to the highest utilised models. The complete range will be avail- able by the end of 2018. b

From now on, the Wirtgen W 150 CF/W 150 CFi can also be equipped with a 1 800-mm milling drum assembly. Customers therefore profit from a wider range of applications. Said to be one of the most powerful machines in the compact milling machine class with its 298-kW engine power, the W 150 CF/W 150 CFi now achieves even greater productivity and area output. The front loader was recently unveiled with its new milling drum assembly at Intermat 2018. The W 150 CF/W 150 CFi can tackle a wide array of different jobs, ranging from classic small milling machine applications such as partial road surface repairs to the removal of entire road pavements. The milling machine is therefore especially suitable for large-scale projects in confined spaces such as on urban job sites. Particularly in such conditions, the sophisticated visibility concept combined with the camera systems help the machine operator to

manoeuvre the milling machine. With the Flexible Cutter System, users can switch between milling drums with different working widths of 600 mm, 900 mm, 1 200 mm and 1 500 mm simply and very quickly. In addition, with the 1 500-mm work- ing width it is possible to switch to milling drums with different tool spacing. A new extension kit is now also available which extends the milling drum housing by 300 mm. With this kit, the W 150 CF/W 150 CFi has a working width of 1 800 mm, making it even more versatile and also ideal for surface course rehabilitation on medium to large job sites. b
