New era in SA’s construction equipment market as Bell and JCB join forces

As part of the agreement, BESSA will distribute JCB’s full construction range, comprising backhoe loaders, wheel loaders, excavators (including compact), telehandlers, skid steers, compaction machines (single drum and tandem rollers) and rough terrain forklifts. BESSA will distribute the product in South Africa, Lesotho and Swaziland, as well as Namibia, through its sub-dealer in the country, Hardrock Earthworks. The target market is generally plant hire, construction, mining and forestry.

Following their distributorship agreement, announced in February this year, the two companies are confident of taking the JCB brand to further heights in South Africa, leveraging each other’s solid standing in the local market.
