The FJ 16-230 is a 16,6 t 4x2 rigid with an approximate payload of 8 t, depending on type of body.

A full steel openable lid with simple press of finger at two points facilitates quick and easy daily maintenance checks.

Zyl, executive director: Daimler Trucks & Buses Southern Africa, believes the new FJ 16-230 will further unlock FUSO’s full potential in southern Africa. Naeem Hassim, head of FUSO Trucks Southern Africa, says, despite the current challenging economic conditions, FUSO Trucks is on a continued growth offensive in southern Africa. The group recently strengthened its drive for excellence and customer dedication with the expansion of its Regional Centre Southern Africa, the third of six regional cen- tres being opened for Daimler’s commercial vehicles globally. Based in Pretoria, South Africa, the centre serves nine countries in the region – South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mo- zambique, Malawi, Zambia, Lesotho and Swaziland. It caters for Daimler’s full port- folio of commercial vehicles including Mer- cedes Benz vans, buses and trucks; FUSO trucks and buses, as well as Freightliner and Western Star trucks.
