New Bobcat T870 loads in
Bobcat has launched a new version of its T870 compact tracked loader featuring a new torsion suspension undercarriage, replacing the previous T870 model with a roller suspension system. Introducing a completely new undercar- riage design to Bobcat compact tracked loaders, the torsion suspension undercar- riage features axles that dampen vibration, combining the comfort of roller suspension and the stability of a solid mount under- carriage. The new T870 torsion suspension ma- chine offers 10% more lift capacity than the previous roller suspension model. It is available in a range of configurations to match emissions and specification re- quirements for all European, Middle East, Africa, as well as Russia and CIS markets. The new T870 provides a more comfort- able and relaxed environment in the cab − achieving a new level of comfort without sacrificing work performance. The torsion suspension improves not only ride quality, but also absorbs stresses and vibrations encountered on the job. The result is re- duced wear and tear, and improved compo- nent life throughout the machine. Offering a highly configurable design, the new Cat 426F2 backhoe loader with Side Shift frame provides customers with additional choices, allowing the selection of a more base-specification model or a highly configured machine to match budget and operating needs. Customers can choose between 2- or 4-wheel drive, backhoe loader or excavator control pattern, cab climate control pack- ages and specified Product Link technology levels, among other options, to get the ma- chine matched to their requirements. Adding to the popular Cat F2 Series backhoe loader family, the new 426F2 is designed with the operator in mind, fea- turing an all-new cab design that provides a comfortable and operator-friendly envi- ronment with greater visibility. High pump oil flow delivers greater hydraulic perfor- mance at the operator’s fingertips, and load-sensing hydraulics enable the new Cat machine to efficiently tackle a variety of applications ranging from loading and carrying to full-depth trenching. Delivering the power and productivity needed for high performance jobs, the new 426F2 backhoe loader can be equipped with up to a 1,05 m³ loader bucket offering a 7 012-kg tipping load at breakout point.
Longer tracks provide increased flotation and reduced ground pressure by increasing surface area and ground contact for better flotation, ride quality and improved performance in soft conditions.
The unique fifth link acts like an inde- pendent suspension, increasing ride com- fort and greatly reducing the rocking effect that is typically associated with torsion suspensions. The Bobcat T870 compact tracked loader feels even more stable and grounded, which improves ride quality and delivers unmatched performance when lifting and grading. b operating mode to another. The cab has been purpose-built for the African and Middle Eastern markets, offering increased storage space and generous space at the rear of the cab. The new 426F2 backhoe loader’s struc- tures are based on the proven 428F2 design for maximum operating reliability in the field. The machine’s parallel lift loader arms provide the operator with excellent forward visibility, greater breakout forces reaching 60,4 kN and lift capacity of 3 610 kg at full height. General Purpose (GP) or Multipur- pose (MP) buckets are available to precisely match the customer’s needs. b
The 5-link torsion suspension under- carriage minimises rocking when lifting a load high or when performing grading tasks. With the new Bobcat undercarriage, there is no trade-off between comfort and performance. An additional link on the rear axle stabilises the system to decrease rocking or bouncing and increase produc- tivity. Its standard 4,3-m-long standard excava- tor-style stick delivers a 4,7-m maximum digging depth and 4,03-m loading height. The machine is powered by the 68,5 kW Cat 3054C 4-cylinder diesel engine with advanced cooling system designed for ef- ficient and reliable operation in ambient temperature reaching 50 ° C. An externally mounted engine pre-cleaner offers quick filter servicing for customers working in dusty operating conditions. Providing maximum comfort during operation, the new wide cab design gives the operator extra room to freely switch positions when transitioning from one
