Hydraulic climbing formwork was used for construction of the main lift core.
“The key challenge on the project was the vertical concrete pumping height of more
than 225 metres. To overcome this
challenge, as well as to avoid any blockages in the pipeline which was over 200 metres long, a super-plasticised concrete mix with a slump of 180 mm was used.”

Single point access to the site necessitated double handling of materials.
