Plaster a smooth surface – effortlessly

PlasterKey, a universal water-based bonding agent, is the industry benchmark which has been designed specifically for use in the building industry to bond sand/cement plaster and gypsum plaster to smooth surfaces.

Surface preparation: All surfaces should be free of loose particles and flaking material. Wire brush and rinse the surface if necessary. Soffits and vertical surfaces: Coat the prepared surfaces with PlasterKey after dust has been removed and apply a scratch coat whilst the PlasterKey is still wet. Allow the scratch coat to dry and then plaster in the usual manner. Gypsum-based

PlasterKey can be added directly to the sand/cement plaster mix (10 % of water content) to obtain a stronger bond. It can be applied by brush or roller and covers approximately 10 m² per litre.
