FORMWORK & SCAFFOLDING

Planning formwork systems in Autodesk ® Revit ® Autodesk ® Revit ® software for Building Information Modelling (BIM) includes functions for architectural planning and design, building technology, structural engineering and construction. Users can now in- tegrate the PERI product catalogues for formwork systems MAXIMO and SKYDECK in Revit ® and plan in the software using PERI system components.

As Autodesk ® Revit ® allows plans to be modelled quickly and easily, many construction companies and architecture firms are using this software to design their projects. Revit ® provides easier collaboration for people working together on the same project, as all involved parties can access centrally shared planning models. In addition, Revit ® facilitates fast and simple 3D visualisations. Intelligent elements like walls, doors and windows are quick and easy to position in Revit ® ; product catalogues from various manufacturers ensure simple, intuitive use. All PERI system components of MAXIMO wall formwork and SKYDECK slab formwork can now be integrated directly in the Revit ® Model. Interested users can download the necessary data packet from the PERI website and integrate it into Revit ® as a Plug in. Quick and easy visualisation The PERI data packet not only includes the complete product catalogue for the MAXIMO and SKYDECK systems, including accessories, but also a variety of functionalities for simplified positioning of accessories. This means the formwork can be integrated in the planning solution during the planning phase. Automatic processes ensure, e. g. proper positioning of locks to connect two frame elements of wall formwork. A variety of perspectives with different levels of detail are available in Revit ® for visualisation. The formwork elements, for example, can be included in the model with their connecting elements. Additionally, it is possible to display the final concrete finish with its joint and tie arrangement – a great support especially for planners and architects who need exactly this visualization at an early planning stage. The PERI Library+ for Revit ® is compatible with Revit ® 15, 16 and 17. It is available for free on the PERI website. 

At the touch of a button, in a single lift the hydraulic system climbs the platform with all the formwork, the material containers, tools, workers rest area or shanty’s, and the concrete placing boom to the next concreting section. The Super Climber on this build has two suspended stair towers and two lower levels for a total of four total levels of working, access and storage platforms. Pinnacle Industries also worked out a comprehensive safety program establishing a firm culture of safety. Regarding cooperation, Doka's outstanding technical know-how, the services and the systems were the crunch factors in Pinnacle Industries' considerations. The Super Climber is a perfect example of a formwork system that belongs among the most technologically advanced on the market. The system is efficient, easy to operate, and fast. In combination with Doka's preassembly, engineering services and site support, this allowed that the project had only a short lead-in time and has progressed smoothly from day one. "The Super Climber SCP is a great system. But it's not just the formwork engineering from Doka that's so good, it's also the support and the engineering services. Everyone is really helpful. Doka is always right there when you need something", says Justin Meyer, a General Carpenter foreman for Pinnacle Industries on this build.  On the Central Park Tower build Doka scores with convincingly capable formwork solutions, engineering and support services.
