Flush-front temperature sensors for food industry

State-of- the- art technology for everyday use The OPTIFLEX 1100 C is aTDR level meter with an excellent price – performance ratio. Why does Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) technology have such a great reputation in the high-end process industry? Because it isn’t affected by changing process conditions like varying di- electric constant or density, agitation and foam. NowTDR’s success has opened up a whole new, exciting opportunity. For the same cost as a Radio Frequency (RF) capacitance, conductive or pressure level meter, you can use this advanced technology for less complex process and storage applications. This saves time and money. The OPTIFLEX 1100 is ideal for industries such as OEM equipment, machine and skid assembly, tank and silo building, water and wastewater, pulp and paper, agriculture, chemical, automo- tive, food and beverage. More advanced than the traditional level meter; the OPTIFLEX 1100C is the perfect replacement for traditional level measuring devices such as (RF) capacitance, conductive and pressure level meters. Flush-front temperature sensors from ifm are now available for applications such as in agitators or pig- ging systems. Thanks to the integrated process connec- tion with G ½ sealing cone, the compact design of the TA3597 sensor allows quick and easy installation. The sensor has an integrated 2-wire transmitter analogue output (4 – 20 mA). The one-piece hygienic and robust metal housing with PEEK (Polyether-etherketone) wetted parts has been specially developed for particularly harsh ap- plications. Meeting IP 69K and FDA requirements, the sensors operate at 18 – 32 Vdc in an ambient -20 to 70 °C temperature range and medium temperatures of 0-100 °C. Electrical connection is via M12 connectors.
