Fast-track MCC for Vametco Alloys JB Switchgear Solutions proved its mettle once again when asked to manufacture a replacement motor control centre in a very short time. DRA Global engaged JB Switchgear for this urgent job when it was found that the equipment previously supplied did not meet the customer’s requirements. The panel is destined for the Kiln Off Gas project at Mothotlong Brits Vametco mine, which is intended to enhance productivity and reduce emissions at the Kiln Off Gas scrubber system. JB Switchgear reduced the footprint of the previous MCC by using its popular Eagle series back-to-back panel design, which carries comprehensive type-test certification for compliance with
