MIKATEKO MABUNDA – MIKATEKO TRADING ENTERPRISE

WINNER M ikateko Trading Enterprise is a black woman owned company that was started in 2005. In its 15 years of existence, it has already made a big impression and has left an indelible footprint in the construction and built industry. The company is well renowned for the outstanding quality of its houses and the professional management of its affairs, to which both the recipients and buyers of its services can proudly attest. The company is 100% black owned, 100% women owned and 100% woman managed and controlled. The managing member, Mikateko Mabunda comes from Ngove village, a rural setting which is about 200 kilometres northeast of the capital of Limpopo, Polokwane. The three women that manage the company bring a diverse mix of management,technical skills and experience. The project entered for is for the Development of 86 rural housing units at Molemole within the Capricorn district. In addition to completing the 86 housing units the project won three awards for the contractors. 
