DINEO MAKUBALO – DINEO & SON CONSTRUCTION

D ineo and Son Construction is a general construction and building services company based in Postmasburg, in the Tsantsabane Municipality. Founded by Innocencia and Thabo Mokomela in Novemer 2009, the company has grown rapidly to become a well trusted professional construction services provider in the Northern Cape. Innocencia Mokomela is the company’s General Project Manager and coordinates all project management and concentrating on cost controls, suppliers, day-to-day project supervision, labour relations, etc. Thabo Mokomela is office manager, handling client

satisfaction, invoicing, permitting, and general book keeping. The company has successfully operated in the Postmasburg area for the past two years working on both small and large scale construction, repair, and alteration projects focusing on residential contracting. In 2013 the company’s management came to the conclusion that the firm had grown sufficiently to alter its primary target market segment from the residential construction segment to the higher margin office and commercial construction segment. During the last two years the company has executed 10 repeat projects for Beeshoek housing renovation and Kumba/Kolomela Mine worth more than R3-million. 

LINDIWE MATHENJWA – EMADWALENI HOLDING

E madwaleni Holding is a business entity that is an entirely black owned practice. It is 100% owned by Lindiwe Mathenjwa, a young dynamic and innovative previously disadvantaged female who is committed to high standards and promotes professionalism in providing a service to its clients. Lindiwe acquired her skills while working in the field. She is well experienced, having started her career in 2006. Whilst still employed, her skills and knowledge were quickly recognised by the company and she was entrusted to oversee the tendering department of and all the quantity surveying functions. The management and technical experience gained put

Lindiwe in an advantageous position to undertake any project irrespective of its size and scale. Lindiwe has taken under her wing Emmaculate Ngwenya who owns Mangwenya Enterprise which is a 100% black owned business. Emadwaleni Holding has subcontracted work to Mangwenya Enterprise. This is to help and equip Emmaculate Ngwenya to build and establish her company in a tough and mainly male dominated Industry. Mangwenya Enterprise is one of the companies that Emadwaleni Holding has engaged to do work at one of its construction sites at IDC in Sandton where Emadwaleni Holding is the main contractor.  41
