NOKUTHULA MAHLANGU – ELEZULU CONSTRUCTION

N okuthula Mahlangu is the 100% black female owner of Elezulu Construction, a construction company located and operating in the Nkangala District Municipality. Its mission is to promote quality standards and regulations in all aspects in which it operates. The company was founded in 2006 by Mahlangu who is a highly motivated and ambitious founder with a mission of

empowering young African females to enter the construction industry and participate in growing South Africa economically. The company’s most recent project is The refurbishment of existing water infrastructure .The project was awarded on the 11/10/2017 and it was a 10 month project. Elezulu Construction completed this within nine months and three weeks. The client was satisfied and compiled a completion certificate indicating that the job was complete in compliance with SET standards. 

NOKUTHULA DLALA – MEGA ROADS AND CIVILS

T he seed for Mega Roads and Civils was planted in 2001 when founder, Nokuthula Dlala, an underprivileged black woman from KwaZulu-Natal began pursuing her dream of creating a platform to empower and create employment for women Almost two decades later this ambitious businesswomen has surrounded herself with a strong team of individuals empowered to represent the business at all levels. Her personal story is an inspirational one and she used her experience to mentor other and considers herself, in her own words, a very

blessed influencer. When her company was started in 2009 it did so with four employees and today there are 50. She is attempting to create even more employment opportunities for unskilled youth and women. Her branch in Johannesburg is run by women and youth. The company has, over the past 10 years, developed a competitive advantage in the industry, specified lead times and had competitive prices. She is moving forward by empowering women. Mega Roads and Civils has a website, is listed in local directories and has Facebook and Linkedin profiles. 
