Increased savings with high power integrated LED downlights

The Enlite Uni-Fit range of high power integrated downlights is extremely viable as a long-term low cost solution in commercial environments. “It is possible to buy and install LED commercial down- lights for the same price, or less, as CFLs and they offer savings of more than 50% in energy costs,” says Warwick Webber, Aurora’s technical director. “The Enlite Uni-Fit range of commercial down- lights delivers all round performance – including 1.5 kV surge protection to help mitigate the prob- lems experienced from power surges or fluctuation in quality of supply. The high power integrated downlights feature ThermoTec technology; an integrated driver; and high quality LED chips to deliver an outstanding lumen performance of up to 2 250 lumens,” he explains, adding, “Superior light distribution is achieved by the honeycomb design of the polycarbonate diffuser.” Webber says the Uni-Fit range is manufactured by the Aurora Group and is the ideal cost-effective solution for general and feature lighting in new-

build projects or in existing installations where CFL downlights need upgrading to more efficient LED technology. The Uni-Fit range is IP44 rated and available in multiple sizes and wattages. It suits just about every commercial requirement. ThermoTec technology uses the combination of a highly efficient LED light source, aluminium heat sinking and thermoplastic material for longer life and consistent performance. The compact integrated driver makes for easy installation, even in low ceiling voids. Life is unaffected by frequent switching, for example, when used with occupancy controls. With a minimum lifetime of three years (L70 to 25 000 hours) in most commercial contexts, the downlights need little or no maintenance. Manufactured by the Aurora Group, voted ‘Manufacturer of theYear’ at the 2015 Lux Awards, Enlite is a brand of value-driven LED lamps and luminaires offering an ideal solution for any project.
