From textiles to lighting, designers have been paying ode to Mother Nature for years. Euro Nouveau’s range of floral-inspired luminaires is another way to bring an organic element into a space. At just 24cm tall and with a diameter of 15 cm, Blom by Andreas Engesvik for Fontana Arte is an easy to move, fun little table lamp that is guaranteed to add a touch of whimsy wherever it is placed. Its name is inspired by its petal-shaped blades and is a contraction of the word ‘blomst’, which means flower in Norwegian. Available in an array of colours, Blom has a compact fluorescent bulb that provides effective lighting with low energy consumption.
