Air compression, dust suppression and piping showcased by Integrated Air Solutions

A comprehensive range of air compres sors from the global ELGi and FS-Elliott brands shared space alongside the inno vative MethaSperse TM underground dust suppression system on Integrated Air Solutions’ Electra Mining stand in Nasrec’s lake area. The recent signing of a partnership agreement with FS-Elliott, enabling Integrated Ai r Solut ions to sup ply spare parts, service and plant upgrades to the local installed base of FS-El l iot t centr i fugal oi l - f ree compressors. “By combining quality product solutions from FS-El l iott with our local experience and com pressor technology know-how, we are perfectly positioned to add value to longstanding FS-Elliott custom ers,” says Russell. FS-Elliott offers its customers energy-saving solutions such as compressor re-rate, inlet guide vane conversions and control system refits, which result in immedi ate savings for customers. The company is also excited about its range of AIRCOM aluminium piping systems. Entertainment venue calls on rope access expertise When a major entertainment venue in Gauteng realised a suspended speaker in an open-air area had come loose, its first call was to Skyriders Access Specialists, which put together a team at short notice and was able to secure the speaker quickly and without disruption.

In another recent concern, cei l ing boards had come loose in the area of a cin ema. While this was more of an aesthetic issue, and did not pose a direct safety risk, Skyriders was able to rig a rope access sys tem in the ceiling space to allow its team to secure the ceiling boards without incident. “Access options were limited to con structing scaffolding or having a cherry picker enter the building, which is risky, cost ly and not ideal ,” says Skyr iders Ma r k e t i n g Ma n a g e r , M i k e Z i n n .
