Emergency Preparedness and Response

Fast reaction times in emergencies can help save people and facilities from harm. In tough everyday mining situations it is especially important that everybody knows what to do. When colleagues are at the scene of an accident, and have received the necessary emergency training, they can either contain the danger themselves or take the opportunity to save themselves. If this is not possible, the mine rescue team can intervene using external measures.
