HPE Africa appointed as McCloskey distributor

HPE Africa has been appointed by McCloskey International as exclusive distributor in Southern Africa for McCloskey crushing and screening plants. The equipment includes jaw, cone and impact (horizontal and ver- tical) crushers, trommels and vibrating screeners, stacking conveyors and washing systems. “Through HPE Africa’s branch and distributor network, the local market now has improved accessibility to the McCloskey range, which is supported by the HPE Africa team,”says HPE Africa’s MD, Alex Ackron. “McCloskey equipment is known for easy operation, high efficiency, low maintenance requirements and extended service life – even in tough conditions. “These robust machines are used extensively in industries that include aggregates, mining and quarrying, waste management and recycling, construction and demolition, as well as infrastructure proj- ects, road building and landscaping.” McCloskey jaw, cone and impact crushers, which are utilised in materials processing, are said to offer high productivity in all crushing applications. The range of mobile screeners includes the S-series and R-series screeners, which offer high output and durability in demand- ing conditions. Trommels operate in conjunction with a remote controlled 180 deg radial stockpiling conveyor. Stacking conveyors – tracked and wheeled – provide stockpiling solutions that maximise efficiency of mobile screening and crushing plants. The first McCloskey stock units – the R155 screener and J45 jaw crusher – have recently been delivered to HPE Africa’s head offices in Gauteng. The robust R155 screening machine is able to cope with difficult applications by efficiently minimising material pre-handling and pro- viding clean end-products. Typical applications for the R155 screener include site reclamation, construction and demolition waste and work- ing with difficult materials such as heavy rock, sticky clay and fines, as well as boulder clay. The high-performance McCloskey J45 jaw crusher, with a 45” x 27” jaw, ensures efficient handling of materials in arduous environments. This versatile series has both level and load sensors as standard. Other features of the J45 include a heavy-duty bofar grizzly design and pan feeder chutes, with steeper angles, designed to reduce mate- rial sticking. A high-capacity hopper with 6 m³ capacity is mounted over a vibrating feeder.
