“In terms of hole quality the PowerROCT50 turns the large top hammer market on its head,” he says. “The motor-driven aluminium feed delivers a maximum feed rate of 0,7 m/s and achieves straighter and more consistent holes compared to a steel feed.” The double-dampening system ensures constant hole bottom contact with hole quality assured by the constant and sufficient supply of air delivered by the Atlas Copco screw-type air com- pressor. Furthermore, the optional COP Logic sys- tem gives anti-plunging, anti-jamming, collaring, etc, for optimum hole quality. The unit’s DCT 200 dust collector system pro- vides for strong dust suction capacity and excellent dust suppression with 20 filter element pieces and a total filter area of 20 m 2 , including a pre-separator. A 6,0” suction between the bulk head and the dust hood reduces wear, with 5,0”between the bulk head and the DCT.
