Crushing and screening specialist, Pilot Crushtec International, and respected training provider, Opsmin Training Services South Africa, have announced a partnership that will add a new and professional dimension to the industry through the provision of accredited training. The training, provided by Opsmin Training Services, is officially rec- ognised by the Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA) – a tripartite statutory body established by the Mine Health and Safety Act of 1996. Opsmin is an accredited skills development pro- vider supplying training in crushing, screening and occupational health and safety activities, both for opera- tors and supervisory staff. By virtue of its acceptance by the MQA, the new course gives industry employees the opportunity to gain official acknowledgement for their knowledge and skills. “Training has in the past been

of crushing and screening within the South African context. Announcing the new development, Pilot Crushtec International CEO Sandro Scherf says this fits perfectly with the company’s commitment to placing customer needs first. “This forms part of our policy to continually adapt and evolve to place customers’ needs first – beginning with a superior sales experience and continuing with legendary after sales support,” he says. l While it’s readily portable format makes it particularly suitable for green- field applications, contractor use and temporary planning permission sites, operators more used to static instal- lations will still appreciate the small footprint and minimal site preparations required. The AggWash incorporates two 4,9 m x 1,5 m (16’ x 5’) triple deck Terex Cedarapids LJ-TS Series horizontal screens, incorporating a triple shaft vibrator mechanism that provides high G force along with efficient oval motion. The compact installation height of horizontal screens compared to conventional inclined circular motion screens is conducive to the condensed working envelope of the AggWash 300. The AggWash was designed to address higher production requirements for recy- cling customers and quarry owners, par- ticularly in the construction, demolition and excavation waste recycling market. The high performance solution brings together rinsing, screening, scrubbing and sand washing capabilities on a single plant.

At this year’s Hillhead Show, Terex Washing Systems (TWS) showcased its AggWash 300, a screening, scrubbing, sizing and sand recovery for recyclable aggregates, all on one modular chassis, and Terex AquaClear, the first water management treatment system from Terex. “Terex Washing Systems is focused on bringing to market products that deliver value to our customers and
