Following an extensive analysis of the multi-faceted trucking industry, the leading transport solutions provider has developed a comprehensive range that meets the highly diverse transport assignments, including those in quarrying and mining. Raimo Lehtiö, MD of Scania Southern Africa, says with the new range, which represents the largest ever investment in Scania’s 125-year history, the truck maker’s major focus is to give its customers the tools they need to achieve profitability in their businesses. “The introduction of the New Generation range marks the start of a targeted offensive with tailor-made solutions focused on meeting the demands of our customers in the local environment. We are putting a higher emphasis on the customer’s business – the only business that matters,” says Lehtiö.
