ture. In Johannesburg, the Eurolux team will move across to the existing Radiant buildings in Wynberg, Sandton, where several interesting showroom concepts will be launched during the course of 2019. This new chapter will also see the brands establish a presence in Durban with a new showroom in the works. In Cape Town, the Radiant team has already moved into the Eurolux offices in Milnerton. Eurolux (Pty) Ltd is proud to officially announce its recent acquisition of Radiant Lighting (Pty) Ltd. The merger came into effect on 1 January 2019 and sees the two brands running parallel to each other as separate entities under the umbrella of the Eurolux Group. Eurolux started out as a modest Cape Town op- eration in 1991 and has continued to grow from strength to strength. With two locations in South Africa, the brand is an industry leader in lighting im- portation and distribution. Radiant began operations in 1990 and, similarly to Eurolux, expanded its of- ferings as the company flourished and experienced rapid growth.

Together they have a combined trading his- tory of 57 years. This strengthened pool of re- sources allows for an improved product offering and an elevated level of customer service, mak- ing them a force to be reckoned with in the mar- ket. “We strongly believe that this merger will bring about only positive changes for everyone, especially our customers. It will certainly make both companies stronger and more competitive in the market”, explains Eurolux director, Shaun Bouchier. The LED is an Osram high powered LED mounted onto an aluminium circuit board, 19 or 27 LED option, NTC point. Ease of maintenance is ensured as access to the ECG – the cause of most LED fitting failures – requires the removal of only three screws. The luminaire is specifically designed for all lighting applications in streets, squares, parking areas and landscapes. Light distribution is symmetri- cal or asymmetrical, and is used to provide a predominantly functional purpose in guiding or leading people and vehicles.
