NEW RANGE OF COMPACT FLOOR POWER BOXES NOW AVAILABLE

Together with its floor boxes, the company is also launching four module and seven module sockets and cover plates. Along with the floor boxes, these stylish products have been created to cater for the increased options and quantity of various modules needed in modern electrical installations. Importantly, both products have been manufactured to comfortably accommodate the newly legislated 16 A three pin slim-line socket, the new industry standard in electrical sockets. The floor boxes, cover plates and slim-line sockets are available immediately.

its compact floor boxes. The official launch of the compact range has been timed to coincide with the product being set out as a standard specification for all Nissan showrooms. Various electrical consultants have already been introduced to the product, and are now specifying the product because of its suitability for most applications. The boxes are built to the highest standard and are compliant with all relevant statutory requirements. Customers are encouraged to contact the Central Support Systems sales department to request additional customisation of the new floor boxes and will be accommodated wherever practical.

CENTRAL SUPPORT SYSTEMS has introduced a compact floor power box range to the market. Consisting of a nine module mini floor power box and a 21 module compact floor power box, the newest range has been developed to allow for a wide array of the latest modules to be installed in a clean, compact and stylish manner. With the ever-growing need to incorporate more power and device access points within companies, the need has grown to increase the amount of module op- tions, and the quantity of modules, which a floor box can support. Following discussion with customers, Central Support Systems was asked to come up with a solution, which led to the development of

WHAT IS DRY ICE BLASTING?

D ry ice blasting is similar to sand blasting, bead blasting or soda blasting, where 3 mm dry ice pellets are accelerated in a pressur- ised air stream to impact the surface to be cleaned. Once in contact with the surface, the dry ice evap- orates. This process is called sublimation and is a unique characteristic of dry ice, which makes it ideal for cleaning a variety of industrial equipment in the form of electrical motors, stators, generators, electri- cal panels affected by flash or fire damage, as well as removal of mould, welding splatter, ink, glue, paint, food, rubber, dirt, grease, oil and numerous other contaminants. Reasons to consider dry ice blasting: • Eliminates equipment damage, as a result of zero abrasion. • Increased safety: the process is dry and non- conductive and therefore suitable for use on electric motors and electrical circuitry. • A faster, more thorough clean, including compli- cated cavities where typical grit blast media will become trapped. • Reduce or eliminate the use of permanent blast media, solvents, acids or chemical detergents. • Reduce waste disposal and is more environmen- tally friendly. • Decreased down-time, increased productivity and bottom line savings. • Safe and non-toxic for food applications. Application in different industries Mining: Ideal for the cleaning of heavy mining ma- chinery and equipment, electric and electro-mechani- cal equipment, surface, moulds and fresh air fans. Electrical: Dry Ice Blasting offers an industrial clean- ing service providing a dry-cleaning method with no residue. No water, chemicals or drying processes are required and can be used to clean housings, stator and rotor windings, wiring, dc armatures and pole rings, switchgear, bus bars and transformers. It is ideal for disaster recovery of substations in case of electrical flashes or fires. Steel foundry: Cleaning of permanent moulds, hot moulds and core boxes without any down-time. It is ideal for cleaning of permanent moulds by removing water and silicon-based releases agents, sand and resin in core boxes, screen and slot vents, die-casting machines, mixers and hydraulic power units. Engine remanufacturing: Cleaning of engine blocks and accessories, pistons, coils, cylinder heads and alloy wheels. Printing: An easy, fast and cost-effective way to re- move ink and grease on printing machines. Mass transit: Surface preparation of glass, plastic, rubber and aluminium without any damage to the surface. Applications are cleaning of elevators, esca- lators, floors etc.
