I n Februar y 2012 , AECOM was appo i nted by the c l i ent , SANRAL , for consu l t i ng ser v i ces for thi s phase o f the N7 upgrad i ng between At l ant i s South i nter sect i on to Le l i e fonte i n (Phase 2 ) . Upgrad i ng the N7 to a dua l car r i ageway wi th f reeway status meant that a l l ex i st i ng at- grade acces ses had to be c l osed and reconc i l ed to an
