Kwikspace fulfils emergency purchase

The library is fitted with SMART Technology and a SMART Board to con nect over 1 000 children in the school with the wider world of digital learning by allowing them remote access to the web based system through their own tablets and smartphones, irrespective of their location. The software is one of the first to bring coding and robotics to the table, advancing digital age opportunities for the youth of the region. To ensure that the pupils continue en gaging with the technology, 11 teachers from the school received content training to integrate CAPS-aligned class lessons and remote learning across all subjects with the new software using Curiosity of October’s school holidays. Each of the 11 classrooms, which can accommodate 45 learners, is 56 m 2 and features a ve randa, air conditioning, pinboards and writing boards to meet the Department’s requests. The admin block of 8 m 2 includes toilets and a kitchenette. Both unit types were electrified upon delivery.
